MRS BRUCE’S AMBITION. :( United Press Association—By ElectricTelegraph.—Copyright.] LONDON, August 1. “Australia first in my motto,’’ said Mrs Victor Bruce, the well-known sportswoman, who has announced her intention of flying to Australia. .. “I would like to beat Hikler’s record to Australia, but that would be only a beginning. I want to go much further. lam getting along nicely. I like flying well enough, but only as a means of doing things and seeing no countries. After motor-racing and speed-boat racing, there is no particular thrill about flying in itself.” Mrs Bruce declines to reveal her full plan until she is ready to start.
