WAIRAKI MINERS
WORK TO BE STARTED. (By Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, August 8. The dispute between the Wairaki Coal Company and the miners employed by that company was,settled at a sitting of the Conciliation Council to day. 1 It was agreed to open the mine on Monday, and that the union should supply the :■ number of, men required to worlclthe mine each'‘fortnight, and that the /whole of the employees employed by the" company on July 28 shall sham the. work-in turn.
