GENEVA, Aug. 3

Three passengers were killed and the pilot and mechanic were seriously injured, when an aeroplane oil tho lake-Leman service dived into the lake. It was flying low, when its right motor misfired, upsetting its balance, The right wing dipped and struck the water. Then the plane dived into the lake.

Motor boats rushed to the rescue, and they picked up the pilot and mechanic, and also a Belgian woman passenger, aged forty-two years, who despite her arm being torn, off, crawled out from the cabin, and swam until she was rescued. Later she died in hrjspital.

The other victims were a married couple on holiday.
