AN INQUEST. [United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] LONDON, Aug. 4. “Forgive me, so unhappy, can't stand life any longer,” was the burden of letters read at the inquest on Huntmaster Green. One was addressed to dear, true loving father, another to a brother aqd a third to a huntsman: “Look after my hounds, I loved them.” A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned.

OF FRENCH WORKERS

PARIS, August 3

One hundred thousand textile workers in the Roubait area have struck, as they are refusing to contribute to a national insurance scheme.

THREE KILLED

GENEVA, Aug. 3

Three passengers were killed and the pilot and mechanic were seriously injured, when an aeroplane oil tho lake-Leman service dived into the lake. It was flying low, when its right motor misfired, upsetting its balance, The right wing dipped and struck the water. Then the plane dived into the lake.

Motor boats rushed to the rescue, and they picked up the pilot and mechanic, and also a Belgian woman passenger, aged forty-two years, who despite her arm being torn, off, crawled out from the cabin, and swam until she was rescued. Later she died in hrjspital.

The other victims were a married couple on holiday.
