IMPERIAL CONFERENCE
' PROBABLE PROCEDURE, [United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph .—Copyright.] (Received this day at 8.30. a.m.) LONDON, August 3. : There is .much conjecture whether the Labour Cabinet will follow the precedents of Naval and Egyptian Conferences and hold a number of public sessions of the Imperial Conference, but Government circles are disposed to think the Conference will be wholly in camera, with the periodic issues, of communiques. It is admitted that new circumstances exist owing to there .being Labour Government's in power ..here and in Australia ; also that the ■whole personnel of the conference wijl .probably be new, with the exception of Mr Hertzog, but the fact that .many ticklish problems are awaiting settlement, especially in economic and ;; constitutional realms, induces, wefll informed persons to predict that the hulk of the business will be thrashed out in the committee rooms.
