Alarine’s foreign tonnage is planned by the new company, in order to develop American service. It is also reported that the Pennsylvania and Bhltimqre-Ohio Railroad Company is interested in the Roosevelt line, which operates, a fleet of twenty-four motor .ships from Atlantic ports to the Far East. It is understood that these will merge with the new company.
