STRONGLY CRITICISED.
(By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 31. Party Government , was strongly criticised at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce Council to-day. It was resolved that the continuation of the party system was inimical to the best interests- of the Dominion and that the Reform and the United Parties should coalesce and collaborate in view of present' economic- situation. One prominent member declared the amalgamation of the parties at this stage would be easy. Too much time was being spent in mere vote catches- . - : * 1
