INVERCARGILL, July 29

A third candidate is announced for the Invercargill seat at the bye-elec-tion next month. This is Mr W, Hinchey, who is standing as an Independent Fusionist. „ In explanation of the term “Fusionist,” Mr Hinchey said that he considered that there was so little difference between the United and' the Reform Parties that, in order to form a strong Government, the parties should come together. It is expected that the attitude of the Labour Party will be known shortly.
