A German aeroplane engaged in the round , Europe race, landing .at the aerodrome at Lyons, was caught in a wireless aerial and crashed. Pilot Offermann and a passenger, Te-rzemeski, were killed. Another tragedy occurred at Lausanne, where Captain Staub decided to fire a signal to help a French pilot to land in bad weather. The -gun went off in Stalib’s face and lie died afterwards. I RUGBY, July 25. Airship RIOO left her base at Cartl-in-gton to-niglit on an extended flight,' and will probably proceed via Birmingham, Derby and the Bristol Channel to the English Channel. It is expected that she will fly over London to-morrow evening before returning to Cardington. Tlie airship’s next flight will probably be to Canada in a few days’ time. SCHNEIDER CUP. .
