WELLLINGTON, July 24. • In the House of Representatives, the Divorce and Matrominial Causes Amendment Bill (Mr Mason) was reported from the Statutes Revision Committee with amendments. The debate on the Unemployment Bill was continued during the afternoon and in the evening the Prime Minister presented the Budget, the reading of which occupied two hours twenty minutes. { The House rose at 9.55 p.m. WELLINGTON, July 25. The House of Repreisentatives met at 10.30 this moi’ning. TTe following Bills were introduced and read a first time:— Gaming Amendments Bill, (Hon. Williams). Wellington City Empowering Bill, (Mr Wright). v Dunedin City Corporation Empowering Amendment Bill, (Hon Taverner). Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Amendment Bill, (Hon. Taverner). WELLINGTON, July 25 In the House of Representatives the morning was occupied by discussion on the Ministerial replies to questions and the House rose at 1 p.m.
