GENOA, July 12. Tn the Davis Cup doublets De Mbrpurgo and Gaslini (Italy) defeated 6—B, 2—6, 6-4. Harada and Abe (Japan) B—6, 9—7, Willard defeated Kingsley 3—6, 6—3, 10—8. Austin defeated Crawford 6—3', 6—l. Moon defeated Perry 10—8, 6—2. Perry seemed to lose his composure in the second set, and became over-excited, while Moon set serenely. LONDON, July 12. Austin was definitely in form, but Crawford was unable to do anything. LONDON, July 13. In the Davis Cup at Genoa, Italy defeated Japan by three matches to two. De Morpurgo beat Ohta 6—o. g o, 6—l. Harada beat Stefani 6 2 7 5, 7—5. Italy now meets United States in the inter-zone final.
