Obituary.—Harry Quane, aged 74, founder of the well-known firm Quane and Co. merchants, and a former President of Canterbury Chamber of Commerce. The deceased was a regular business visitor to Hokitika and was n most popular figure. He took a keen interest as j a member of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce in urging on the piercing of Arthur’s Pass tunnel. WELLINGTON, July 11. Obituary—E. A.
