(Received this day at 10.30 a.mj LONDON, July 9.

A bathing tragedy occurred _at Blackpool. Ninety-one boys belonging to Saint Aiden’s School were camping in the neighbourhood when a majority went in to bathe, Several were caught in the receding tide, threw up their arms and shouted for help. Bystanders at first thought it part of the general merriment. When they realised the danger it was too late to rescue them. In all six were, drowned and two gallantly rescued.
