PIONEER’S DEATH.

TE AAVAMUTU, July 10.

Obituary.—John McCarroll, aged 85 years. He was a pioneer and prominent. local body member for many years in North Auckland. He came to • the Dominion from Belfast 44 years ago and is survived by se-.en sons and two daughters. He has been residing here with his son for a year. The interment will take place at Paparoa.
