New South Wales Rugby League has fixed certain dates for the New Zealand team. . August 4th versus Metropolis; 9th versus Wales; 13th versus Combined Universities,
Clark, the New Zealand player ordered off on Saturday, is not playing until next Monday. Brogan, the Australian did not appear.
Nivel has been appointed referee for Saturday’s match against New South Wales. Timms and Tittleton who were injured and Wetherell, who is suffering from inflammation of the ear, are not going to Bathurst, where Meyer, Pearce and Jones are making their first appearance. ! Strong remarks were made at the Rugby League Executive regarding the: inactivity of the Board of Control affecting tours of New Zealand ond it was decided New South Wales and Queensland Committees confer with touring managers with a view to a regular programme, helping in the development of the game in both countries.
