FOUR SHOCKS AT WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON July 6
Four earthquake shocks have been felt in Wellington over the week-end. Two of the shocks were rather sharp. Cases are reported of crockery being knocked off the shelves.
Dr Adams, the Director of the Observatory, said that the centre of the disturbances is 25 miles away. He believed it likely that a series of small shakes would follow.
