CAR HITS TRAM
OCCUPANTS INJURED,

WELLINGTON, July 7
When a car was travelling down Goa Street at one o’clock yesterday morning and had reached the junction with Aloxham Avenue it strucK the last tram to Kiibirnie sideways on. I he:;/motor car. was extensively, damaged and all the occupants were more or less seriously injured. Mips Gwen Jenkins. 18, of 144 Rakau Road suffered. injuries to her left hip and shock. Miss May Hanna, 32, Cleveland Street, injuries to the head, concusision and shock. Both were admitted to the hospital. Miss Almo Hanna suffered from shock only and the driver of the oar, whose name iis not known but who is understood to live in Wilson Street received . a lacerated wound to his scalp. He also was taken to the hospital but after having his head dressed was able to go to his home.
