The whole city, sprang to life. Lights ,/ were switched oh, lifts were going up 7 and- down," people, were getting in motor cars and dashing out of the city, where many camped for the night. The ! streets were- as noisy as. after the Saturday'theatre closing. By four in the morning all was quiet again.
