FOR INDEPENDENCE

BAG GAD, July 2
The Anglo-Irak Treaty has been signed. It comes into operation • when Irak is admitted to the League of Nations in 1931. The lull terms will be announced shortly.It is understood that the .-Treaty gives Irak complete independence, dinting the British mandatory uesponsibility, and that the British forces ; within five years, will b c withdrawn from Mosul and Bagdad and will be,, concentrated at- three bases near Basra.’ ,■ j£',
