SIR T. AYILFORD GIVES A
DINNER

Sir T. Wilford in tendering a luncheon to the New Zealand Press Conference delegates, said: He was sure that would benefit incalculably by association and exchange of ideas with men or world-wide experience in the hub of Empire. He specially welcomed Mr I>. P. Blundell, one of those who bad given the press of New Zealand the good name it bolds, and un(dfC’il podly (fesorvcK in the ’United Kingdom. He was sure the. delegates must have been struck with a high appreciation of New Zealand. Mr W. E. Wilson (Auckland) responding, 'said: The delegates had been treated right royally. They owed a, great debt of gratitude to the leaders of the press of Great Britain, who done everything to make the visit enjoyable. Air Gilmour, proposing Sir T. Wilford’s health, endorsed Air Wilson’s remarks.
