THEFT CHARGE.

PALMERSTON N.. June 28,
At the Police Court David Charles McGill pleaded guilty, and was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for sentence, on a charge of receiving £lO7 on behalf of a Wellington firm and failing to account for same.
DEATH FROM FALL.
WELLINGTON, June 28
,T. J. Wilton, an old resident of Paraparnnui, was found lying unconscious in rough country and suffering frdm injuries to which he succumbed. He had apparently fallen down a cliff and probably lain in the open exposed to the cold for some time.
