The Egmout-Wanganui Hunt Club’s Steeplechase meeting wa s held in bleak,showery weather to-day. The track was heavy, militating against the times. The tote handled £8,727.), a decrease of £940 compared with last year. Results: — Hunters’ Hurdles.—(l) Son O’ Aline 1, (2) Waitaiinaha 2, (5) Spy 3. AA’ou by a neck; 30 lengths. Time 2.58.
