DAIRY AWARDS
SOUTH TARANAKI SHOW. GOLDEN BAY SUCCEEDS. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association). HA WEB A, June 23. The Dairy awards for the South Taranaki Winter Show, opening on Wednesday, were announced to-day. The Taranaki Championship for a single white or coloured cheese was won by Lowgarth (J. L. Taylor) the same maker winning the Shaw, Savill and Albion Cup for the aggregate of points in all open classes for cheese. •Pahiatua (L. Heavins) was second in the aggregate points, and Ngaere (F. Pedersen) third. In the butter section. Golden Bay (C. V. Green) topped the aggregate points in the open classes, winning the gold medal. This maker also took the 'Smith Island gold medal for the best box.
