Calgary advices state that the latest returns in the provincial elections show that the United Farmers (Government) Party has thirty-two candidates leading, Seven Liberals have been elected, three Conservatives, two Independents, two Labourites, and two of the Combined Party.
Oppositionists are leading in ten constituencies.
Four ridings have not yet been reported.

A Chicago message states Rotary Clubs of sixty-two nations were represented at the silver anniversary convention of Rotary international. Beginning its five day session here on Monday the interdependence of peoples and good relations between nations will take the major place on the programme with addresses l>y Sir Henry Thornton (Director of Canadian National Railways'), Prince Tokugawn (President of Japanese house of Peers), Admiral Mark Kerr and Harry Rogers (former President of Rotary International.)
