A new political figure rase on the national horizon when Mr Morrow won New Jersey in the Republican Senatorial primary by an overwhelming plurality that will reach more than two hundred and fifty thousand, defeating his opponent .Mi' Franklin Fort who ran. on a dry platform by 336,000 to 05,000. AMiile New Jersey is known to be “Wet,” hi s victory oil a platform calling for a repeal of the 18th amendment, is nevertheless considered on every side to make him a national leader of the movement against prohibition, and his return, to the State’s control of the liquor traffic. Ilis choice in the November elections, a« a Senator is considered certain, and with his reputation as a financier and diplomat, he becomes an outstanding Republican and a presidential possibility, should the question, of replacing Mr Hoover for a second time, arise.
