ARAHURA STOCK SALE

The usual fortnightly fixture at the above yards was held yesterday when a* full yarding of sheep and cattle were penned. In the fat cattle section the quality was medium throughout, there being few really well finished pens in die whole yarding. Ox beef made to 43s per hundred, heifer beef to 395, cow beef from 27s 6d to Jos. There was a fair yarding of sheep mostly ewes, some of the pens being extra prime.

W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows: On account W. Oldcrog, 34 fat ewes at 20s 3d; on account C. Sadler 67 laf ewes at 20s, 3 runners at £3 7s 6d; on account Perry and Co., 2 bullocks at £ll 17s 6d, 2 bullocks at £ll 12s 6d, 2 at £l2 2s 6d, 2 at £ll 12s Gd, 1 heifer at £l2 2s 6d, 2 at £ll 12s 6d, 1 cow at £7 125,6 d, 1 'at £8 17s Gd, 2 runners at £8 17s Gd, 1 at £6, 2 at £5 17s 6th 1 at £5 2s Gd; on account of H. j-leharry 3 heifers at £8 17s Gd, 1 cow at £8 12s 6d; on account Thus O’Neil 3 bullocks at £ll 17s 6d, 2 at £lO 17s Gd, 6 heifers at £9 12s Gd, 2 at £ll 7s"Gd, 3at £9 17s Gd, lat £10; 2at £9 17s 6d, 3 at £8 7s Gd, 2 at £9 7s Gd, 1 cow at £7 12s 6d.
