LARGE HATS

United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.— Copyright.)

(Received this dav at 8.30. u.m.) ■v LONDON, June 16.

Fashions on an entertaining prewar scale are definitely distinguishing Ascot week. Victorian styles in organdi are again right in the foreground of fashion. Also Edwardian gowns in plain printed summer fabiics. \ majority of the frocks are of ankle length, others touching the ground all round. Nothing shorter than twelve inches below the knees is the inexot--1,1,1c rule. Hats are very large, in lace, straw, tulle, net and chiffon.
