CINEMA HOLOCAUST

MOSCOW, June 13
A cinema holocaust occurred in a school at Kharkov, where a film was being shown to five hundred children and parents.
The third floor became ignited and a panic followed. The crowd rushed the staircase, which collapsed. Twenty-eight were burned or crushed to death, while many were injured.

DELHI, June 15
The Government intends firmly to enforce an ordinance for the prevention of intimidation in picketing and boycotting Troops arrived from Poona and elsewhere, and include artillery and British and Indian infantry.

Over, a hundred issues made new low levels for the year or longer, and more than two billion dollars in valuations were swept away hi heavy' liquidation. Prices broke three to sixteen points in active issues, and the whole list was carried to new low levels on reaction. United States steel made a new low level for the year of 158*. Chicago, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Boston stock markets also rested badly. Commodity markets, including cotton, wheat barsilveh and rubber, were likewise badly depressed.

BRISBANE I-ne 17. After many days searching the police found the coat of arms which disappeared from the Italian Consulate at Innesfail. The missing emblem was discovered in lantana bushes on ie bank of the Johnston river and was badly dented.
