CYCLISTS HURT
LORRY RUNS INTO THEM. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, June 16. Two cyclists were injured, and one lies in a serious condition in the Hospital, as the result of being knocked down by a motor lorry on the Hamil-ton-Ngaruawahia Road at the Forest Lake crossing at 5.15 o’clock this evening. Reginald William Bennett, aged 32 years, solicitor, of Hamilton, was riding in company wit Leslie G. Margaand, clerk for TXalgety and Co., of Hamilton, on bicycles to their homes, and were going up the rise after crossing Number One bridge, when a lorry driven by Bonald Noel Brown of Horotia. travelling in the direction of "''rape, overtook them, knocking both down. Both cyclists sustained scalp wounds, extensive bruises, abrasions, and shock. Tt is believed their con--lit ion is serious.
