N. S. W. CH A MPIONSHIP. (Australian Press Association) SYDNEY, June 10. In the first round of the match play in the New South Wales Amateur Golf Championship, the chief surprise was the dtifeat of Ivo Whitton, by E'. Apperlev, one up. Hector Morrison defeated the Tasmanian champion, L. Netleford, three up and two. The latter was right off bis game. Ei?;ht remain in the second round, which will be played to-morrow.
