SYDNEY, June 10
• A message from' Townsville states that the American tramp steamer “Beulah” struck a cyclone one hundred miles east of Townsville. Her crew had a terrifying experience, and thought every minute they would go to the bottom.
Every lifeboat was smashed nnd there was not a dry cabin. Their personal belongings were lost, and the grew went for days without any sleep. The ship was a week overdue.
