A week ago, John Taylor, aged sixty five, was murdered inside ins small grocery shop in Karr Street, Uitzroy. Robbery is believed to have been the motive, as it. is understood that he possessed considerable wealth. The police bate now arrested -Arthur Skerreit, aged forty-eight, wiio nas been remanded on a charge of murder.
