WELLINGTON, June 13
The Education Council to-day passed a resolution that the Council regrets the delay in the adoption of'a system of accrediting for university entrance, and urges the University to accept the Education 1, Department’s assurance that adequate safeguards will be provided to assure the satisfactory working of the system.
One member described “Matric” as a “toss-up.”
