REPORTER SHOT DEAD

NEW YORK, June 9
A message from Chicago states Aliert Lengle, a reporter for the Chicago “Tribune” who had been investigating a crime was shot and Killed by an unidentified assailant, while entraining at the railway station in the heart of the city, for a suburb, on an assignment. His assailant escaped.
