GAS COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS

The Gas Cooking Demonstrations under the auspices of the Hokitika. Gas Company will commence this mouth, starting on June 10th., and’continuing fortnightly thereafter. The instruction will he given by Mrs-Heinz who so capably conducted the demonstrations in previous years. The demonstrations will be conducted, iri the social room of the Soldiers’ Hall, which-.- is , gas healed, and so convenient for the pur-pose-proposed. . The Hokitika Gas Coy. is arranging also for homes to be visited and any necessary instruction given regarding c oking appliances when desired. The regulo-controlled- cookers are now in great demand all over the Dominion, and their popularity indicates the. suoess they are for the purpose intended.

There are but few homes now wrfbrut gas appliances. Those in-charge of Zhe domestic management would do well to secure a gas cooker which-can be used in so many ways, anil is-so Ccoy nomical with gas. The combination cookers are coming into vpgue also, and local users praise them greasy.; All gas appliances are procurable oh easy terms, particulars of whifejl .-.are obtainable from Mr W. H. Shannon, Revell St-., or from the Hokitika Gas Works, Stafford St. Mr Heinz, ' Works jManager, js always available to supply, all information required. •* •
