Advices from London state than an action has been commenced in the Admiralty Court on belialif hi the Owners of the Norwegian freighter “Seiji’ against the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand for damages arising out of the loss of the Seiji’’ in her coll ision with the steamer “Knituna” off the Victorian Coast in March 19‘29.

The Marine Court’s inquiry found that the Knituna was to blame.

The amount of the claim is understood to be half a million sterling.
