An official communication issued ■tptps Sir Joseph Ward is now seriously ill.

Prior to the recent Cabinet meeting, his medical adviser was very cone.rned about the marked change in his health. However, with the release from the heavy burdens of office it was hoped his health would have a chance of improvement but unfortunately it has not taken place.

At present, Sir Joseph Ward’s condition is serious.
