A pretty wedding took place yesterday morning at bt. Patrick's Church urcymouth, followed by Nuptial Mass, iho conuacting parties were William youngest son of Airs and late Mr A. i'ialierty oi Gooden, and Florence, second young! st daughter of Mi* and Mrs >V. Wright, of I’nk kura. The bride Who was escorted \ her father was attired in an ivory georgette and lace •nkle length frock, and wore a beau-
r'ful embroidered veil, which formed a train. She also wore a coronet of orange blossom and pearls, and carbed n beautiful shower bouquet. Silver brocade shoos and stockings completed a charming toilet. Miss Alice Wright was chief bridesmaid, and wore a beautiful frock of apricot cel•vii ’se satin, while Miss Kathleen Foster, niece of the bride, looked charming in primrose eelnnese. They wore mob caps and carried posies to tone with their frocks. Mr .T. J. Flaherty was best man, and Mr W. Wright was groomsman. Rev. Father o’Doherty, of Ross officiated, assisted by Father Healey. After the ceremony :he party adjourned to Marker’s where a sumptuous breakfast was par-s'-pn of. a'nd toasts suitable to the occasion duly honoured. A feature of th’e decorations was a beautiful boll. The gues'fs were received by Mrs Wright., who wore a bandsoine black satin frock and ebat.with hat and fu’* to font?' Mrs Flaherty wore a black' ao're silk' frock and hat to match. Mrs Rochfmd, sister of Die b'fi'de, wore antelope sation. arid georgette and brawn felt hat. Mrs Galligan wore a IVeige costume, with hat. and furs en ■suite. Mrs O’Brien, sister of the bridegroom,' wore navy crepe de chine and small hat. Miss Flaherty was in' eedanvoo ( | c.-elanese with felt hat to tone. Mrs -Jas. Flaherty was in navy costume and hat. When the newly married couple left on their honeymoon tour. Mrs Flaherty wore a russet brown costume and lint and furs to match

A wedding of exceptional interest was celebrated lately at St. John s Clothed rfl', Napier, whep Frances Maud Fowler, obly daughter of Mr and Mrs A. C. P. Fowler, Napier, was married to Douglas Andrew Riddell, eldest son of Mr and Mrs G. Riddell. Port Aliuriri. The bride is a granddaughter of Mrs bowler senr., Hampden 1 Street, Hokitika.
The ceremony was performed by Dean Broeklehurst. Mr Tombs presided at the organ. The decorations which formed a picturesque setting for the bridal couple, were done by friends of the ! bride. -• "" d ■■• ••
The bride entered the church on tinarm of her father, and was a dainty figure'in a frock of ivory georgette vHth cream silk lace bodice over ivory satin. The sleeves were long and the skirt was flared and ankle length. She wore cream satin shoes. Her veil was of cream silk Brussel lace, caught at-each side noth orange blossoms and a coronet of silver leaves. A very handsome shower bouquet of cream roses and oink flowers, backed with sprays of fmaidenliair fern, was carried.
Tri attendance were two bridesmaids Afit;*) Annie Riddell M'ihfi, sister 'of 4 hn I'ridegroom. and Miss Kathleen Tpohan. both wearing jade green organdie frocks, ankle leiirth. plain front panel, end' frills around the hack Tfiev wore lare-e igde green organdie bats and sat : n shoes, and cnr’■iarl lara-e pottos of Autumn flowers. T WVi b-idosmaids wore petirl necklets. n.„ rtiff. o r the bridegroom; Mr rt.-u.Vo natad as best man. and. Mr tan Bidden brother of the bridegroom was groomsman.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in Victoria Hall, where 120 people sat down to a delicious breakfast. The hall was beautifully decoraetcd by the bridesmaids with mauve and piiili streamers and ferns. The tables WKhie prettily decorated with mauve pink and white astern, in tall crystal vases. The bridal table was further enchanood- with a gorgeous i, re o-tiered wedding cake, a gift of he bridegroom’s mother. After the g-eakfast the bridal couple'stood t oiie side and received many happy congratulations. *v-s Fowler, the bride’s mother, looked very charming in a Paris model frock- of cinnamon,georgette, and lace, with 1 hat and shoes to tone. A bouquet of Autumn flowers and maidenhair fern was Carried. Mrs Riddell, mother of die bridegroom, wore a becoming gown of navy blue crepe de chine, and hat to tone, and carried a bouquet off fed roses , and maidenhair fern. Mr w. Ross; of Havelock, proposed the health of the bride and bridegroom. ahd ! it was drunk with musical honohrs.
When the time drew near for the departure of the bridal couple the guests assembled near the entrance of the hall, all laden with confetti. Tlie bfide looked very charming in her travelling frock of fawn crepe de chine and lace. Her coat was also o'f fawn crepe' de chine, with frills., on each side. She wore a hat and shoes to tone. The happy couple left for Palmerston North by car, where the honeymoon will he spent. The many hand-, some and valuable gifts wore displayed in n room sot apart and expressed the goodwill of a host of friends towards the happy couple.
