MOTOR" CYCLISTS: HURT

WELLINGTON, May 27
Through a motor cycle skidding on Hutt Road, two young men, F. Roller aged 21, and G. Saunders aged 20, were knocked unconscious and had to be seht to the hospital. The machine crashed into a telegraph pole.
LABOR LEADER
OTAKI, May 27
Mi* Holland (leader of the Labour Party) gave an address last night dealing largely with the unemployment position. He favours the creation of an unemployment board, an advanced land settlement policy, encouragement of secondary industries, and the absorption of unemployed on work of a necessary character.
Mr Thorn (a candidate for Otaki seat) also spoke in support of the Labour Party.
BODY FOUND
WELLINGTON, May 27
The body of'Richard Hicks, aged 87, who left his home at Hataitai yesterday afternoon to go for a walk in accordance with his usual custom, was found on the 'beach at Kilbirnie at 7.30 o’clock this morning.
