NEW YORK. May 23

Thp Graf Zeppelin is expected to arrive at Pernambuco, early on Monday morning, alter leaving Rio de Janiero at 6.52 a.m.. New York standard time, whereafter she has been reported regularly along the northward course.

Considerable criticism was heard at Rio' de Janiero, concerning Captain Eckener’s (apparent change of plans, causing thousands ■V’vious watchers to miss seeing the dirigible which arrived over, t-b© city’-s outskirts early in the morning, but instead of landing proceeded southward to Santos. Crowds left, their points of vantage and returned home disappointed, whereupon the Graf Zeppelin returned, and landed at Compi Affonsos aerodrome at ,5.5 a.m. for a brief stop. She landed without trouble despite the ; unfa-mil rarity of the ground crew with so large an airship.
