DISTRICT RACING COMMITTEE
A meeting of the Grey District Committee was held yesterday 1 afternoon at Greymouth; Mr T.-E'. Coates presiding, the following members- being present:— -Messrs D, J. Evans," A. E. Kilgour, W. H. Partt, and A Bevan.
.Applications were received 1 from the following for licenses: —Jockeys, C,‘Me jCiirtliT (Reelton),. -Vi.‘ Aa-Kee, (Grey:moilth); trainer, .!). S; Adamson (Han drari). These were recommended to the New Zealand Racing Conference to be granted. c
Applications for the following dates were recommended by the District Committee:—AVestland Racing Club, December 2(stb and -'27tb; v 1930 ; : Grey Aba 1 ley Jockey Club,. The secretary reported."'that' Jockey J. H. A lob re, who had been injured whilst riding at the Roefton races, was undergoing treatment at the Grev Hospital. The New Zealand Racing Conference advised that a jockev’s license had been granted to G.
