PIPER AND KAY
RETURNING TO ENGLAND
AUCKLAND, May 21
After spending a little o\er a nonth in the Dominion, Flying Officers K. Kay and IT. L. Piper, the New '/.< alanders who made a-very advent nous flight from Britain to Australia, will sail by the MaVnigamii 'on Friday Her Sydney, on route to England. Both were granted extended leave from the Air Force to visit their rda tives in New Zealand iind the time has come for them to return and compote the five years’ service' which i(.e[i undertook upon entering the force. Flying-Officer Kay, whose family resides at .Mangefe, returned from the south yesterday. 'Flying-Officer Piper, who has been doing considerable Wing in the South Island and in the Wellington province, will arrive later. Til-ing-Officer. Kay has a- further twelve months to-serve with the Royal Air Force. He has not yet .decided what he wil undertake when his term expires.
