The dead body of Mrs Carrie Whitehouse was found partly dressed in an open road at Gatcly, Manchester. There is no evidence of violence or foul play. Her husband, Capt. Whitehouse, whom she married in 1913, is believed to he in New Zealand. Mrs Whitehouse lived alone in an apartment house in Manchester.
