Mr Motley Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, has been associated with the Lord Privy Seal, Air Thomas, in devising measures 'for dealing with the unemployment problem. Newspapers state Air Alosley favours bolder measures on unemployment problems.
INDIAN LOAN

The Government of India loan which was underwritten yesterday-was offered for subscription to-day',' and lists were closed early this afternoon. The issue consists of seven million pounds of 6 per cent, bonds 18,33-35 and the price was £99 per cent. The proceeds of the issue will be used mainly to provide funds for capital expenditure on railways, and the balance will be employed for general purposes.
AFTER AMERICAN CUP.

Sir Thomas Lipton’s America Cup challenger Shamrock V won her third successive victory to-day, when she finished first in a race from Harwich to Southend. Shamrock Y will leave for America about the middle of July and will go via Azores, accompanied by the convoy Erin, which will carry a big supply of oil, which will be freely used in bad weather. Experts nnvoipnted the yacht will ride a sea well. She will have a crew of twenty-two. and will carry one month’s rations of food and fresh water.
