America led Britain by three games to one at the end of the "Walker Cup foursomes.

Withered and Tolley (Britain) beat Von Elm and Voight (America) by two boles.

Jones and Doctor Willing (America) beat Hartley and Terrance (Britain) 8 up and 7 to play. AlacKenzie and Mee (America) beat T oiderness and Stout (Britain) 2 and 1.

Johnston and Ouimet (America) heat Campbell and Smith (Britain ) 2 and 1.

In the women’s golf championship semi-fi/nal. Bliss'; Gllenna Col iett (America) heat Miss Enid Wilson (Britain) 1 up. M;ss Diana Fishwick heat Miss MacDonald 5 and 4.

In the Walker Cup Match, that was won by the British players, Tolley and NVethered, thrills, came in the second half.
