MR ZANE GREY
VISIT TO SOUTH ISLAND
WELLINGTON, May 13
From letters forwa rcled to the Hori.' P. A. de la Perrelle (Minister of The Tourist-rind Publicity. Depa'ft'ment,):,it' seems that it will not bei until 1932 that’'Mr Zane. Grey' the noted novel ist and fisherman, who has done so much to advertise the attractions of Now Zealand, will visit the South Island. Mr Zane Grey states in one of his communications: “We are coming to New Zealand this-fall instead of in 1931. The change is owing to the fact that I am having my yacht built in Germany, and she will not be done until June, 1931. We plan to go to Whitianga early in December, and stay as long as the fishing is good. Then we may go north for a spell, and finish up with a whack at the Tongariro. So the South Island will have to wait till I get out. there with my yacht, the following year. This time we wilt come via Honolulu and Auckland, and will return from Wellington.”
