The second day of the Nelson J.C. races was held in perfect weather. The track was good and the attendance large:

Matai Trot:—(3) Alpine Melody, , (3) Ailsa Bingen 2, (7) Drift Wave Also started:—lvodie and Bell o’ Mine (Bracketed), Kentucky Direct, Nelson Gara, Hardiness, Chancellor Wilkes, Loco.
