RUGBY AND LEAGUE
The football season is close at hand. Meeting of the respective dubs are being held and club games will- commence in April. The English team’s tour through the Dominion is eagerly awaited and particularly by West Coasters, as the Englishmen will, meet the combined Buller-West Coast representatives during the season. It is too early yet to predict the winners, j but should our boys be defeated they will find consolation in a foaming glass of Westland. Ale, the representative brerf of New Zealand.—Advt.
