NEW YORK, May 7

The police at the city of Columbus, in Ohio State, are unable to ascribe any motive for the murder by a woman newspaper seller of seven out of her nine children, whom she shot while they slept, after which she shot herself, and is now dying in tile hospital. The woman, was separated from her husband, and she bad sold newspapers for many years with the aid of her three children. The victims were- apparently murdered one after another, without being awakened.
