TEXAS TORNADOES
HEAVY DEATH ROLL,

NEW YORK, May 6
A message from Dallas, in the State of Texas, states: “It is believed that
thirty-two persons have been killed in a series of tornadoes in different sections of this State. Twenty of the dead have been identified.
OVER FIFTY FATALITIES.
■NEW'YORK, Mnv 7. .'A later message from Dallas, Texas, states : —Approximately fiftythree persons have been, killed in the tornadoes in Texas, which were accompanied by heavy rain and hailstorms. The entire State,, experienced great windstorms, and the whole business section of the town of Frost was
destroyed. Communications have broken from the tornado swept areas. NEW YORK, May. 7. Reports from Dallas state deaths, believed to have totalled eightly four as a result of a “grasshopper” tornado. which leaped from one area to another in' widely separated parts of Texas, injuring hundreds of perosn and causing tremendous damage. *
