GERMAN SOLDIERS

T'o COMPETE AT OLYMPIA

(Official Wireless.)

RUGBY, May 7,

For the first time since before the' war a team of officers from the ciack cavalry regiments of the German Army will ride in the International Horse Show at Olympia next month in competition with Great Britain, France, and Belgium. Four officers from tho German Army will compete for King George’s Cup and the Prince of Wales Cup,, the two most import? ant trophies of the show. While the British troops were in occupation of the Rhineland, invitations to compete in international events of this kind were refused tv Germany. The decision to send a team to the Horse Show, which opens at Olympia on June 19th, indicates a return to normal relations between the mjilitary forces of the Allies and Germany.
